The novel starts with the story of a little boy, Atil, who moves to Germany with his family, leaving his hometown, his brother and his friends from school behind. Throughout the novel, we find out about Atil’s journey to a different country, about how his life changes and what he goes through, trying to cope with those changes.

Atil feels homesick for a long time…until one day, he decides to go back home… This book has been translated into German.
