This novel concentrates on the issue of workers’ migrating into Germany in search for better economic conditions, based on findings of the social studies carried out in Germany. The novel starts with the story of a little boy, Atıl, who moves to Germany with his family, leaving his hometown, his brother and his friends from school behind. Throughout the novel, we find out about Atıl’s journey to a different country, about how his life changes and what he goes through, trying to cope with those changes.

Atıl feels homesick for a long time…until one day, he decides to go back home…
