A TRIP TO THE WORLD OF KANGAROOS: AUSTRALIA
Dear readers, in this book, we are going on a trip to Australia. Melbourne is situated right by the sea and looks magnificent. During our tour of the city, we go into an interesting museum, which I am told is the house where Captain Cook was born. “How can it be?” I object, “ Captain Cook was born in Yorkshire, England.” Then, I am astonished to hear the story of his house: The people of Australia are greatly fond of Captain Cook who discovered this beautiful continent. In order to keep his memory alive, they have gone to his house in Yorkshire to tear the building apart and build it exactly the same as its original using the same bricks and building materials here in Melbourne.
Australia’s geographical location is beautiful…and so are its people…especially the babies. They have beautiful, healthy looking pale skin and blue eyes. Sydney is also a nice city and it is definitely worth seeing with its bay, bridges, opera house that resembles an oyster shell, zoos and kangaroo farms.
The capital Canberra is a relatively new city. Nevertheless, it is very pleasing to the eye as it is very well organized, surrounded with modern buildings and numerous cultural centers. We are filled with pride when we visit the city park named after Atatürk and see his big statute there.
